Upstream

Upstream is a proactive mental health and social-emotional support program designed to identify and address student needs before they become significant barriers to success. Through screening, relationship-building, and targeted interventions, the program helps students develop coping skills, strengthen resilience, and improve their overall well-being.

By connecting students and families with appropriate school and community resources, Upstream promotes positive mental health, increases student engagement, and supports academic success. The program focuses on prevention, early intervention, and creating a supportive school environment where every student can thrive.

SIMS Fayola Boys Leadership Group

The SIMS Fayola Boys Leadership Group is a mentorship and leadership development program that empowers young men to build confidence, character, and leadership skills. Through group discussions, community-building activities, and positive mentorship, students develop social-emotional skills, strengthen their sense of purpose, and learn strategies for academic and personal success.

The program promotes accountability, respect, perseverance, and service, helping participants become positive leaders within their school and community.

Servicios de la Raza

Grupo Artecura is a therapeutic support group that helps students process the emotions and challenges associated with the loss of a loved one through creative expression and art-based activities. In a safe and supportive environment, students explore feelings of grief, build healthy coping strategies, and develop social-emotional skills that promote healing and resilience. Through guided artistic experiences and meaningful reflection, participants are encouraged to express their emotions, connect with others, and navigate the grieving process in a positive and constructive way.

Grupo Girasol is a supportive, culturally responsive program facilitated by Servicios de la Raza that helps students strengthen their social-emotional well-being, self-awareness, and resilience. Through guided discussions, relationship-building activities, and skill development, participants learn healthy ways to manage emotions, navigate challenges, and build positive connections with peers and adults. The group fosters a sense of belonging, empowerment, and personal growth while creating a safe space for students to share their experiences and support one another.

Jóven Noble is a culturally grounded youth development program facilitated by Servicios de la Raza that supports young men in developing positive identities, leadership skills, and healthy relationships. Through guided discussions, mentorship, and community-building activities, participants explore topics such as self-awareness, responsibility, respect, emotional wellness, and cultural pride. The program empowers students to make positive choices, strengthen their connection to their community, and become leaders both in school and beyond.

Girls Inc.

Girls Inc. is a research-based youth development program that empowers girls to be strong, smart, and bold through intentional social-emotional learning, mentorship, and hands-on experiences. The program provides a supportive environment where students build confidence, develop leadership skills, and strengthen resilience while exploring topics such as healthy relationships, academic success, and self-advocacy.

Through engaging workshops and mentorship, Girls Inc. helps participants develop the tools they need to navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and thrive academically, socially, and personally.
