| Welcome Back, Summit Families! Welcome back to a new school year! I hope you and your family had a wonderful summer. As we begin this year together, I am excited about the opportunities ahead for our students, staff, and families. At Summit, community matters. Our students are most successful when they know they are valued, supported, and connected to the people around them. This year, we will continue working together to create a school where every student feels that they belong, has a voice, and knows that they have people in their corner. Thank you for being an important part of the Summit community. We look forward to partnering with you throughout the year and making this a successful year for every Panther. As we begin a new year, I am very excited to welcome some of our new staff members: Ms. Kira Withrow-Middle School Math Interventionist Ms. Julie Tucker- Math High School Teacher Ms. Isabella Manning- High School Math Interventionist Ms. Jo Fontana- school nurse Mr. Victor Rivas- one to one paraprofessional 📣 Important Updates -If your student did not register, they will not be able to start school on the first day of school. -Transportation: The bus route to the old Summit will continue this year starting on Monday 8/24. pick up times: 7:30am and 8:00am. Drop off times will be around 4:00pm and 4:25pm. There will be no drop off on Mondays due to professional development for staff. -The district has been working all Summer trying to fix our AC and get it to work, unfortunately that has not happen as of today. Please send your student prepared for some hot weather with water bottles and dress comfortably.
