Message from the Principal
Dear Summit Families, October is here! Please make sure you are taking care of yourselves and your students, vitamin C and flu shots are the best way to be ready for this season! As we transition into the new season, I want to take a moment to share some important updates and reminders with you. Parent-Teacher Conferences: Mark your calendars for October 14th. This is a great opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and any questions you may have. Trick or Treat Street: Join us on 10/24 for our annual Trick or Treat Street! There will be games, candy and a chance to connect with other families. Parents, if you have not completed the lunch application, please do so as soon as possible. This impacts the funding for our school. Completing this form will not take you more than 5 minutes. This will give us more resources to support our students. Please complete our universal social emotional screening in 5 minutes with this link: https://review360connect.com/Prod/DenverPublicSchools/Parent. After you submit the first screen, you will access the survey. This information helps Summit Staff identify who we need to support and provide resources. I have an open door policy. Please reach out with any questions and concerns. You can also reach out through email at josorio@dpsk12.net. Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we can create a positive and enriching environment for our students. Warm Regards, Mr. Osorio Principal Summit Academy
